Hi, I’m Martha.

I help organizations communicate complex information through GIS, visual design, and digital storytelling.

  • After more than a decade working in communications, marketing, and graphic design, I made the decision to return to school to study natural resources and GIS. My goal: combine my background in visual communication with data science to help organizations make complex information more accessible and meaningful.

    Today, I create maps, dashboards, StoryMaps, data visualizations, websites, and communication materials that help transform data into clear, engaging stories. My work spans nonprofit organizations, environmental health initiatives, conservation, and public outreach, drawing on experience in communications strategy, graphic design, digital media, and GIS.

    Whether I'm doing a layout, developing a web application, or building an interactive map, my focus remains the same: creating transparent and accessible communication tools that inform, engage, and inspire action.
